Keychains clasped with the metal ring from our backpacks, purses, and house keys follow the movements of our pacing, jumping back and forth with every walk to school, and bike ride back home. We carry them with us through every moment of our lives, choosing the characters we adore from our favorite cartoon series, game franchise, and movie character plotline. The plastic clasp does more than attach to our belongings, but also holds the memories we make with them. The point of colored pencils gives off the same texture as the rough, but soft feeling surface of the keychain's velvety fabric and hard shell of plastic. The warm feeling of each character casting a blue shadow against the cold, white background does more than just illustrate contrast, but also draws the audience into the warm light the keychain emits, which is filled with comfort.

To me, creativity means being able to express ideas that have never been seen before in various art forms. Our creativity is limitless when you can take pieces of your life and turn them into something special in your own voice, instrument, pencil, dance, and camera.
