My artwork represents the beauty of life. Shortly before making this piece, my grandmother passed away. I wanted to commemorate her life and and the beauty of it. I attempted to capture the strength and beauty of a flame before the flame dies. The contrast between the bright yellows against the dark blues represents the strength of the flame and its ability to stand out, just like my grandmother.

Creativity means original thinking of an idea or concept. Thinking of your own composition, way of art, or design is creativity. The ability to think and create for yourself are core ideas of creativity.
