Nara was once Japan's ancient capital, where the dawns and dusks were greeted by the ringing of temple bells. Guided by the fluttering of a butterfly from the past, ancient Nara is revived once again. The tempo quickens as the piece progresses, and within notes begin to dance he Guardian Deities of the Children, the busy Running Priest, the Laughing Buddha, the comical demon Obstinancy, and the Brave Deva King, all summoned into the present. However, with the definitive strike of a great bell, the tempo suddenly returns to the original speed, and with one strke, time has returned to the past. Withing the echo of the last note, be sure to catch the faint sound of a Nara hat lived over 1250 years ago.

Creativity is my life’s passion. Ambition ebbs and flows when there are no boundaries or a path predetermined by others. Expressing my imagination and feelings through playing music frees me into a stream, washing me away into a realm where my consciousness is whole with my true self.
