No, No, No

I've often felt frustrated with the results of my music production efforts. For a long time, I tried to create something that sounded like what I enjoyed listening to, rather than something that truly reflected me. "No, No, No" is the first piece of music I've made that I'm genuinely proud of. I worked on it for a couple of months, opening the project for just an hour or two every other week. I started this project with no clear vision, as going with the flow usually yields better results for me. I was inspired by both alternative pop music and my love of bass-heavy (like annoyingly loud bass) songs. Although I haven’t yet found a singer, I eventually hope to replace the piano with vocals.

Creativity to me is exploring what I can create with both passion and curiosity. Making something that is truly yours and unlike anything you've heard before is the most important and rewarding part of the creative process.
