  • For a long time, I didn’t talk much… not because I couldn’t, but because I was uncomfortable. My friends picked at every word, waiting for something to gossip about. Meeting my current friends completely changed that. With them, everything feels easy and warm. I talk freely, laugh loudly, and even get in trouble for chatting too much, but I don’t mind. When I’m happy with who I am, life becomes bright and colorful. This piece uses a peeled banana to represent that comfort. A peeled banana isn’t hiding anything, and that’s how I feel with the people who truly understand me. I don’t hold back, I don't overthink. When you look at this piece, I hope you ask yourself, “Have I found the people who let me be fully myself?” If not, I truly believe you will, because everyone deserves to feel as free as a peeled banana!

  • Creativity is sparking something new, whether a fresh interpretation or a unique view of the familiar. It can be serious or playful, funny or sad, bright or dark, because creativity has no limits. It shines brightest when boundaries are pushed aside.
