• Artist Statement

  Growing up like any teen, you go through an acne phase. “Harmful jokes” from others, bizarrely even family will form that get to your head sooner or later. One that always rung in my head was pepperoni face—no matter what background you come from you automatically get the reference. Through the creation of the piece I conveyed what I kept seeing day to day, the things I’d often notice especially people eating pizza.

  Creativity is to story tell not in any ordinary way, but an interesting innovative way. To tell a story without any limits to what can or can’t happen. With creativity, anything can happen.
