I crafted and wrote this song over the course of last summer. Songwriting is a huge passion of mine and I spend all of my free time writing lyrics and melodies. I especially admire my work on this song do to its full and complex structure while still maintaining simplicity in its chord progression. The songs complexity is due to the modulation after the bridge and the alternating melodic choices I make. In addition to the musical aspects, I am proud of the lyrics I wrote for this song. In my lyrics, I purposely integrated poetic techniques such as assonance, alliteration, and inner rhyme highlighting the songs uplifting nature. I also use repetition to emphasize important themes and ideas. It's a very playful song with an extended metaphor using fruits and foods to describe flirtation within a relationship. I hope you enjoy my creation!

Creativity on a basic level means self expressing, exploring and being playful artistically. In its highest form, to me creativity is tapping into the unknown, and creating something that is wholly unique to the individual creating it.
