Point of No Return

I need to be strong. I need to be charismatic. I need to be productive. Yet I feel trapped behind a hardened facade. Every corner I run to for refuge closes in on me, walls crushing until I sink to the floor. But I'll keep going like I always have. After all, I'm past the point of no return. My choreography speaks about hustle culture especially in the Bay Area.. Growing up, I learned that taking your time was fool’s paradise—life is nonstop. Any second I slacked, I felt years behind so I kept packing my schedule. I accepted it, believing I have to stay on this one-way track to success. But dancing paused time. I closed my eyes, inhaled, and drifted through the air as worry melted away. Movement is raw, beautiful—everything our society's perfect standards deny. We are not past the point of no return.

Creativity is conveying a significant or emotional concept through a form of art whether visual, literary, or performing. For dancing, I value creativity in individual artistry where you have a unique way to express a story or feelings through movement even to your finger is positioned.
