Rebirth

  • Is there no difference between a computer program and a human heart? Does it help us in daily life? Is it a valuable learning tool? Or does it take away from our critical thinking, humanity, and morals? In our current world there is no way to avoid advancing technology. It learns to mimic the organic so we can no longer tell the difference. In this poem a beast persuades an artist to give it her words. I believe artists have an ability to construct and deconstruct worlds to the point they seep from your skin. But in a world when A.I. can take that away, I have to ask myself where is my place in this system? I chose to place these questions into this artist slowly being hunted and destroyed. The piece demands people to second guess what they see and hear, while also second guessing their response.

  • Creativity is the carrier of individual expression. I believe every person holds a form of creativity unique to themselves. The beauty of creativity is its unpredictability. When we tap into the natural desire to create, we are able to unlock the deepest and most fascinating parts of our minds.
