Snake Pit

Lucas S.

  • For me, creativity is how I make sense of what I feel. When I wrote Snake Pit, I was trying to turn that feeling of wanting to be loved — but not being seen — into something real. It’s about the tension between hope and heartbreak, about reaching out for connection and realizing you’re the only one reaching. Writing it helped me process the loneliness and the confusion that come with one-sided love. Music gives me a place to say things I can’t always say out loud. Every lyric and chord in Snake Pit came from that ache, but also from the belief that being honest — even when it hurts — can still be beautiful.

  • Freedom is what creativity means to me. It's my way of turning emotions into sound. It's all about expression and not perfection. Music is the best translator of words and feelings. The gift of writing songs when words are not enough is the greatest creative freedom one can have.
