This piece represents the experience of perception, both to be perceived by others, to perceive others, and to be perceived by myself. I was originally going to focus the piece entirely on gender roles, using solely pinks and blues. However, during my process I decided to expand my mediums and palate alongside the scope of my focus. I instead allowed the artwork to be multifaceted and multidimensional, as I am finding myself and others to be.

To me, creativity means finding a channel for all of life's darkest to brightest moments and the feelings each provokes. To me, creativity is the ability to channel ones heart and sole into a passionately explorative process.
