In my Ceramics class I was tasked with a reinterpretation of a children’s story.

A bright, yellow banana slug sits upon the ground on the fall foliage.

Uh oh. Well I wanted to draw my favorite character from my favorite object show...inanimate insanity.. and I thought...”wow! Might as well draw candle from inanimate insanity” and so I did that.

I made this because it relates to my childhood version of an American breakfast because my parents didn’t have enough time to make a meal but they wanted me and my siblings to eat something hot, so they started buying those to heat up in the morning.
