Tomorrow

Tomorrow started off as a result of exiting the competitive dance world and leaning into my emerging love of film. Blending the intimacy of dance with the vision of cinema, Tomorrow is a short student experimental film that explores movement, fragility, and the beauty of living in the moment. A meditation on dreams, fleeting time, and the uncertainty of what lies ahead. I filmed this with the intention to capture the promise of hope that we all long for, especially right now. I have struggled with visible and invisible disabilities my entire life and I am hoping to portray representation on and off the stage.

Struggling with disabilities I always doubted myself. Feeling like my art as a dancer was constantly being judged, which is why I stepped away from competition. Wanting my creativity to be free of judgment. That is what creativity is for me, expression with no judgment. No labels, no criticism. observation
