• Artist Statement

  Uncertainties are everywhere in life. They could be intimidating. Decisions we make and paths we choose could lead us to very different journeys. Sometimes, we maybe afraid to choose because we don't trust our own judgement; worse, sometimes, we bury our heads in the sand hoping that miracles would happen to point us to bright path. If we want to overcome our fear, we must strengthen our minds to welcome uncertainties. We may not know everything, but we can do our best to make a good decision. Regardless of where the path leads us, we will always learn from it. Such continuous learning will give us the confidence that we will be just fine in the end.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity means finding new, unique, and sometimes unexpected ways to do something. Dancing is to express oneself or tell a story through movements. Choreographing new or different movements or finding new types of stories to be expressed through dance could both be creative.
