Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by how a human face can become, by the trials and tribulations of life, weathered, for nothing better illustrates the hardships that so many trudge through silently.

This art is a part of a series of watercolor paintings, which I am creating, of the landmarks we have visited and enjoyed as a family.

At the time of this artwork, I was inspired by the Fauvist and Surrealist art movements and I wanted to explore them a bit.
