Contortion symbolizes the hard schedules and overwhelming work we have and the lines in the background represent the distractions, but the person is still standing in the end.

This piece depicts a smiling girl, her bright colors fading into black and white like a forgotten memory that slowly loses clarity.
Accepting Imperfection
The frogs on the skin represents imperfection because they symbolizes something messy, discomfort and disorder, but the boy in the picture doesn’t wash off his mess/ imperfection and instead accepts it.

This artwork represents the story of Gideon in the Bible. Gideon was called by God to defeat the enemy.
Calm Combustion
The meaning behind this painting is simple: I wanted to capture the feeling of trying to remain calm through tough times, the serene expression contrasting sharply with the blasting explosion.

With this artwork, I wanted to do an exploration of various ethnic groups in China, and explore their cultural clothing and its intricacies.
Weight of Silence
The bee representing external threats and anxiety, and the limbs crawling all over me symbolize invasive thoughts from outside expectations, pressures and judgements.
