While creating this painting, I was reflecting on my past not-so-fun experiences with scoliosis, and the many surgeries it took to stretch and straighten my spine once again.

My piece “The Cycle" focuses on the reality of Bulimia Nervosa, an eating disorder where a person forces themselves to purge after eating.

This piece is a reflection of extreme global industrialization and the effect it has on the younger generation.

With this piece, I wanted to remind the audience how beautiful imagination can be.

I wanted to make something fun and childish with a little bit of mature sas.

Wanted to try to make clothes.

This piece is based on the airplane board game, but it’s really about friendship.

I used a variety of markers and ballpoint pens to highlight certain parts of the piece, using markers to represent a sort of blue hue around the character.

I decided to draw China Town because my friends and I used to go there when we were younger and explore all of the cool streets and stores.
