Desdemona
I wanted to focus on the abuse Desdmona suffered at the hands of Othello, as well as Desdemona's characterization throughout the play as naive and clueless. I like how the original painting captures this really heavy moment, after Othello murders Desdmona, where Desdmona lies, truly helpless. This connects to present day domestic abuse as it captures this “afterwards” moment, illustrating the consequences of not taking
Landing Point
Over Spring Break, my family and I visited Zion National Park, and we trekked the infamous Angels Landing Trail.
