Me being a young Black man from the Bay Area, I wanted to create a piece that carried amazing symbolism for young Black men of the Bay Area.

This portrait focuses on depicting the subconscious mind.

“Children Deserve Fun Not Funerals” was directly inspired by Keith Haring’s art pieces and advocacy.

Limbo reflects a suspension in space where sorrow and joy collide and the feeling of being torn between emotions.

This piece of my Boy with many thoughts is a self portrait that explores the mind and how my thoughts, idea and emotion constantly flow and collides, the headphones symbolize the how I use music of ways to focus and find my calmness.

Imagine being new to a town that miles away from your home and not having any family near.

Letting the light out is the statement used for this artwork since in a world where you have to be a certain way can be gloomy and dark, having art as a way to express pent up emotions and interest contains the light from the world.

This is my original character created back when I was in middle school.

Even when you are surrounded by negative emotions, deep down everyone has a light in them that will help them combat negativity and give them hope.

I love these two very much, so I want to share to you all.

I chose to silhouette a rabbit's head because rabbits are one of my favorite animals.

This peice is a harmonious blend of color and shape, representing my relationship with religion, karma, and the belief that everything happens for a reason.

This piece captures a moment suspended in blue— Where feathers echo chaotic serenity in the form of vibrant hues and stillness.

I love drawing people and, me personally dislike my body even though others say there's nothing with it.

I was in a tough space and needed to decompress art allows me too express what I cant say out loud.

I've made many self-portraits before, but most were under prompts and were more literal than abstract.
