The Morning Smoothie
This piece was inspired by a routine I adopted during the COVID pandemic; my friend and I would facetime every morning and make smoothies.
Invention of the Mind
While this was a school project on charcoal composition, I felt I needed to channel my childhood imagination into the piece.
Duplexity in Perspective
Living in a society and country where perspective is often skewed, I find solidarity in reaching for the unknown and speaking for what is right.
Glass Bottle
I experimented with different angles and lighting when placing this glass bottle to then photograph it and copy it .
the humann tomatos
I made this piece because I like the color scheme of the tomatos and the different sizes they come in.
Venus as a Boy
The character in this piece, depicted as having found beauty in who they truly are, is inspired by the song "Venus as a Boy" by Björk.
Artist Self Portrait
The assignment for this project was to pick an artist and paint a self portrait in their art style.
Camera Evolution
This shows the evolution of cameras throughout our recent times, starting from the Kodak, ending with an iPhone.
Cycle of Production
I like making found object art. It makes me happy to repurpose old, discarded things and restore their beauty, value, and usefulness.
Self Distortion
I wanted to not only portray myself through this composition but also depict how society often pressures women to adopt unrealistic standards, forcing them to feel the need to alter or change themselves as a result.
Lizzie Leapers
This is a drawing of my pet, Lizzie (Lizard) Leapers (they can jump really far), who, despite the name, is in fact a crested gecko.
Wall Mounted Seashell Vase
Size: 9.5” x 8.5” x 2” Medium: Glazed Ceramic I created this functional piece in my senior year as a personal project.
