My artwork, "Blemished Apple", consists of clay and underglaze.

This piece shows the conflict which arises when trying to recall childhood.

Keychains clasped with the metal ring from our backpacks, purses, and house keys follow the movements of our pacing, jumping back and forth with every walk to school, and bike ride back home.

In the painting there are five of my characters: the central one (Echo) shaped like an angel and painted in holy light.

Through my art, I wanted to explore the subtle but unsettling ways mirrors can alter our self perception. In each reflection, I purposely emphasized the distortion with some faces appearing older and others with shifted expressions.
