I have learned that expressing myself through writing can sometimes get a message across that I may find harder to say out loud in any given intense moment.

This piece of micro-fiction was inspired by a trip I took to Palm Springs. It is meant to be a fun read that also touches on belonging and the journey to find a sense of self.
