Infinity Gauntlet Cup
My artwork is the Infinity Gauntlet Cup from Marvel which can be used as a cup to drink from. It took me around 2 months to finish it and I’d say it came out better than what I expected.
Jada's First Birthday
I made this piece from a photo of my sister that was taken on her first birthday.
Bridge Above the Fall
This piece helped me learn about light, how details can be inferred from thicker brushstrokes, and how bigger brushes can create unique texture.
Glow of the Pass
In this piece, basketball is not the tool for winning but the medium to reveal the invisible work that the game demands.
Come To Life
I drew my two original characters inspired by a taro milk tea and a pumpkin spice latte on shrink plastic.
Awkward Self
This awkward self portrait represents the way I feel on the inside on some days.
Girl with Begonia
This was one of my first fully completed pieces of a portrait, my favorite thing to draw. I looked at a huge collection of references to make the girl and flowers convincing, and the artstyle I went for was made of major inspiration from Mucha's artworks and famous French painters.
Gentle Lion
This drawing of a lion wasn’t one of my original favorites, but my family greatly influenced my choice on this piece. In the beginning, I struggled on the proportions.
The Inner Child
Everyone has an inner child, hidden behind the guises of their veiling disposition.
Lamentation
This piece is meant to convey the grief of loss as the golden bird waits for colorful friend, while the others leave, knowing he will never get up.
Ziggy Bank
This is a functioning piggy bank that I hand sculpted from clay, bisque-fired, painted with underglazes and a top glaze, and finished with a high-fire.
Faded Allure
The piece conveys beauty without a face; it is an ode to the age of social media, where societal standards of “beauty” have become so widely broadcasted.
The Long Black Branches of Other People's Lives
This piece is part of a larger portfolio celebrating influential female poets and writers.
